Many people today think that being the greatest of all time at something is really cool. A popular acronym today is G.O.A.T. Slightly funny, since the poster is full of goats. G.O.A.T. stands for Greatest Of All Time. What does it take to become the greatest of all time at something? Skill? Hard work? Sacrifice? Smarts? The G.O.A.T. in the Kingdom of God is not known for any of those things. Jesus says that those who are like children are the G.O.A.T.S. in His new Kingdom. Children should know they are loved, feel safe in the world and be free to be curious. Those are the qualities of the G.O.A.T.s in the Kingdom of God. Children do not seek power or position. They are dependent on their parents or guardians. We serve a mighty God who loves us a great deal, can protect us from harm and wants to teach us all your life.

Children: Dear Jesus, help me to be okay with staying like a child and not growing up too fast. Help me to teach adults that they are loved by God, are safe in His care and that they should be curious all their lives.
Adults: Dear Jesus, help me to be more childlike. Help me to know how much you love me, feel safe in your care and not pretended like I know a lot.
