Because the Kingdom of God is so amazing its fields, orchards and vineyards are very full. It’s like having a lot of cookies. There is A LOT of wheat, fruit and grapes in the Kingdom. Some people would like to take the wheat, fruit and grapes (and cookies) for themselves instead of giving it to God and trusting He will do what is right with it.
These verses are very complex to understand. In the parable wheat, fruit and grapes are symbols for other things in the Kingdom of God. These things might be power, money or popularity. In the Kingdom, these things belong to God. But some people will want to take these things from God and use them for themselves. These are the type of people who ended up killing Jesus. The servant son who is killed by the tenants in the story represents Jesus. Just as the master sent his son, God sent Jesus and they killed Him.
That is not the end of the story, however! Jesus was killed, but three days later He was raised to life so the Kingdom of God would have a King that lives forever. Jesus is our amazing, powerful, loving and kind King. Amen!

How are you different after reading these verses?
Dear Jesus, please let me always give you the fruits of your Kingdom. You are the true King and ruler of the field and I am happy to love and serve You. Thank You, Father in heaven, for sending Jesus to die for us so that we can live with You. Jesus, You are the great King. Thank You for the pain you endured for me. I am so happy to be in your Kingdom. Amen.
